I bought this book for my son Jesse’s 1st Birthday on 26th July. Who sadly isn’t here anymore. What do you buy for a child that isn’t here? Nothing. So I thought I would buy this for myself, to write birthday letters to him every year on his birthday and hopefully one day in the future, his future siblings will want to know and read all about their big brother they never got to meet. This book will be treasured in our household for years to come. Thank you for allowing me to process and write all of my thoughts and feelings in such a beautiful book.

I was very kindly gifted this book for my first baby and I bought a second when the next one came along. I am 7 years in to writing these letters and every year is a joyful, teary occasion. I love reading my letters back and pouring over how much they have grown and I can’t wait to give it to them when they are old enough to appreciate it. I love the idea of this. I purchased one for my first born and cannot wait to start writing to her. However if im completely honest, the product is pretty overpriced. £40 for a notebook. Would I buy it again for a 2nd child, yes probably, but you could just ultimately buy your own notebook. Anyway, I've decided to add more pages and take it beyond 18, I can't imagine an 18 yr old will fully appreciate the weight of such a gift.

I absolutely adore this book for my boys and just purchased my 2nd book for our 2nd son, as have cherished writing in it each year. It has become a birthday evening ritual for my husband and I to look back on the year and celebrate all the memories we’ve had with our boys. This is so beautiful. The book is gorgeous, so much space to write your letter each year and it is lovely to have space to write about/from the day baby was born. Its so nice to have something where you can write to your baby as most things nowadays are online or typed up! This is something that would make a beautiful gift to a mother to be too

I was so delighted to find this very special book, I immediately ordered one for my 3 year old son and my baby girl.
Each year I write cards for each of them (to give them in the future), on their birthday and on Christmas Eve, telling them about what they did that year and the wonderful things about them.
This is a far more special way to do it and a beautiful book to give to each of my children when they are grown.
Lovely colours and a stunning gift box which I shall keep them in over the years so they remain in lovely condition.
